Multiple GPU's

Hey,
I doubt this is possible but I'll ask anyway. I have a spare 15" LCD whcih I owuld like to attach to my pc just to display emails and RSS feeds. I ahve a dual monitor system already and both ports on my current GPU are in use by the two screens. I do have a spare nVidia GPU sat in a cupboard. Is it possible to add this nVidia card alongside my ATI card to act as the host for this 3rd screen?

I want the current 2 screens to stay in a multi monitor config but want the 3rd 15" to stay pretty much separate and just used as an info screen!

If you can get the drivers installed right, then yes, it would work.

It depends what OS your on, if its XP or win 7, then there shouldnt be a problem, win vista would be a No No..

Nothing stopping you buying a cheap Ati card though.

I am using 7 at the moment but why would it be a no no within vista?

Vista didnt allow mixed video drivers, as in ATI and Nvidia working together.

Ah right, I didn;t know that. If I inser the nVidia one then how do I put the drivers on so they don;t overwrite the ATI ones?

Just insert the new card and install the latest Nvidia drivers. And Rob's your father's brother.
