I'm just wanting to an answer to if you can run several different mods with the same installed game and activate them seperately. To understand it easier I'll specify what I'm wanting with an example.

Say I wanted 1 save on oblivion to have modified skins and one not to have it (using standard character models) would I be able to keep both installed and just switch as I wished?

My only previous experience with mods is the ModY plug in Diablo 2, with this mod you get some extra storage space and to get equipment you can normally only get when playing online but the mod itself only runs if you click on it's own icon so I can play the without it any time I wish and so play online without having any unfair advantages. So the question boils down to would I be able to play Oblivion (the game I want the several mods for) with a different series of mods without having to delete them at points?

Thanks for any help.

Sort of. You can normally deactivate mods the same way you enable them. Don't think its possible to boot up different mods with different characters any other way than manually activating/deactivating them before you play that char.

That would work fine anyway, so long as I can activate and deactivate them then I'll be able to play each character differently (different skins) so thanks for the answer.
