I'm looking at finally moving to a 3x 24" LED Monitor setup, and I have a good grasp of how I'll be connecting everything. I'm running a 7970 currently.

My main query is that I play a lot of EVE Online, typically with 3 clients open at a time (in windowed mode), and I was wondering it's configurable with the multiple monitors to have those 3 clients with one on each seperate screen in fullscreen mode?

Wouldn't you have to set up VMWare style virtual machines to achieve that? Haven't come across any way to achieve three separate "full" screens - if it's just the window box that's the issue, could you not just expand the window to slightly larger than the screen so the border is not visible?

Edit: Isn't this exactly what Win8 does with concurrent full screen apps?

You're right, there is an option that I overlooked which allows me to set a fixed window so it hides the desktop gubbins (I'm a sucker for immersion). I was hoping there might be a way that I could fullscreen the game as there is a hit in performance on Windowed mode, not a lot, but noticeable.

I'm using Windows 7 currently, does Windows 8 have a function like that? Might be worth moving over if that's the case.
