1) It takes about 5 minutes for vista to connect to my modem via the ethernet connection when I first start up, I don't know how to resolve this - it's very annoying!
2) I think at some point I activated internet connection sharing but I can't find any settings to validate this (may be related to issue 3). In addition to this, the other PC (windows XP) connects wirelessly to my vista machine via adhoc but cannot access the internet.
3) My ethernet connection to my modem is missing in 'manage network connections' in the 'network and sharing centre' even though it shows up as being connected. :S
If anyone can help me solve at least one of these issues I will be very grateful!
