Multiple NIC'S?

I was wondering, assuming you have a raid array capable of more than 1Gb/s, could you put in 2 nic's to transfer data upto 2Gb/s?

Yes, assuming the NICs and the switch support port aggregation.

Note that port aggregation is load sharing based on MAC to MAC, IP to IP or a combination of both. Any point to point transfer will only use one of the links and still be limited to a maximum of 1 Gb/s

Is it also possible to transfer @ 1Gb/s to two seperate computers at once?
