multiple paragraphs html

Hello. I apologise for what is clearly a really novice question but..

i'm attempting to do multiple paragraphs like this... the standard <p> does one but no more. Do I have to add a bunch of space in pixels below or above each piece of text?

You can use <br/> to introduce a line break. One paragraph tag, multiple lines of text.

So:

<p>
text
<br/>
text
<br/>
text
</p>

If they are actually separate paragraph tags though, you really should use multiple p tags. Just be sure to assign a bottom margin to them so they are spaced out.
