right i already have a powerline adaptor working for bt vision.

i was wondering if i can buy more of the same make and brand of the powerline adaptor and then make them network like a hub?

and would it work if i buy a different brand?

i'm not worried about speed cos its all for the entertainment system for like bluray players etc etc, so only 1 system using the network at a time.

any ideas?

Yes.

It depends. There are DS2 adapters and Homeplug adapters, and they don't mix. I believe the BT adapters are the less common DS2 type, but this may have changed.

Do you need a connection in another location, or just more ports? If you just need more ports you could just add a cheap network switch.

thx for your reply

so best bet for me to get the same brand and model

i'll try find some 2nd hand 1s on famous auction site

yea i clicked on about the network switches then dig out my old from before the wifi era 4 port hub...although it work, but then i realise it was only a 10m hub lol and counldn't stream video, instead of buying a new switch might just get more powerline.
