Multiple Reservoirs in loop will it work?

I'm planing out my next water cooled PC and trying to work out the loop, I wanted something slightly different and thought of using 2 smallish Reservoirs in the loop.

I have not seen any builds that have used this design, is there a reason why I shouldn't do this?

Loop

Reservoir 1
Pump
CPU block
Radiator 1
Reservoir 2
GPU Blocks
Radiator 2

I'm not sure weather it would work properly as I believe adding in another res would restrict the flow, but having not done it myself, i cant say that i'm correct.

I've seen loads of loops using 2 reservoirs, normally them flashy ones with lights and such in. Cant see it making much difference, it will mean you need more fluid though. Doesnt matter if ya just using water but might be worth considering if your using expensive premixes.

You do know you don't need to go from a block to a radiator as the water temperature will settle regardless of order. The key thing will be pump after res. Depending on the pump being decent then it shouldn't be a problem.

They usually use 2 pumps as well as 2 reservoirs

Reservoirs cause quite a big pressure drop, so would negatively affect flow unless you also used 2 pumps

I havent used a Res since my second or third loop maybe about 10 years ago, i just catch all the air in my top rad and then tilt it out once its all collected.
