vista crashes when i access my dvd drive!?!

out of the blue i have started to get this BSOD called "multiple_irp_complete_request". It only happens when i try to access my dvd drive e.g click on the icon in "my computer".


Ive uninstalled the drive and re-installed it again but no change. Any body else had this problem? if so how can i get rid of it. thanx

edit: i forgot to mention that i can easily access my dvd drive while in "safe mode" without getting this BSOD.

Well the response has been overwellming

ive reinstalled windows vista and it has seemed to have got rid of the problem for now so everything is rosey for the moment.

this can now be closed my an admin as i dont need help pn this matter anymore.
