Contenders for the US Open include Murray, Federer and.... that's about it. Hard to make a case for anyone else. Djokovic should make the SF, has a chance for the final with an easy draw, Soderling could go deep if he finds some form. Davydenko has been injured and nowhere near his best Del Potro been out injured for ages so won't stand a chance with no match practice.
Roddick is finished, Nadal looking exposed as usual at this part of the season, probably QF because top players inherently get easy draws. Nalbandian was looking good until he got destroyed by Murray a few days ago, although that could've been fatigue - Nalbandian arguably the best player in the world when he's in form (which is usually about 1-2 weeks of the year!)
No one else coming out of the pack so my rank outsider 1000/1 shot dark horses include Hewitt, Gilles Simon and Dolgopolov.
