MUSE - Uprising. The Resistance. Leaked

Interchanging mind-control come let the
Revolution take its toll if you could
Flick the switch and open your third eye,
you'd see that we should never be afraid to die

Wow, deep.

What did you expect? Bellamy is a complete arse.

Thankfully I don't listen to the radio much as I could well do without everyone tongue-cleaning Muse's collective backsides for the next 6 months once they release another album.

Must be difficult being such a miserable ****.................

I was under the impression I was allowed an opinion though? I didn't realise you could only post in a thread if you agreed entirely with what the OP said, my apologies.

It will indeed be exciting to read lots more posts saying "Yeah I like Muse too."

Reminds me a bit of the kind of beat Marilyn Manson uses. Not bad, very different from United States of Eurasia, will be interesting to see how they fit into the album.

Only thing I'm concerned about is how its going to sound live. Muse have always been strong live and I hope these carry on into the gigs later on in the year :)

Calling us all brown nose follwers is more than an opinion isn't it.
I didn't actually say that though, and I apologise if you took offence.

I was referring to various Radio stations (especially Radio 1) who will repeat whatever tracks they get hold of again and again, until even the most hardened Muse fans get bored of them.

I only ever listen to the radio when I drive a pool car at work, and it astounds me how they think they're providing a service to fans of any music. To play a song 4 times an hour throughout the day should be illegal. No matter how much people like said track or the band that produced it, they'll be reduced to tears having heard it 386 times a week for months on end.

I was a bit worried that this album would be plagued by bad lyrics after hearing USOE - the lyrics on that were really dreadful. I guess I can't really judge them until I hear them in the context of the track. I look forward to listening later on :)

MUSE-lite.

That's all I describe this as. I swear I read something where one of them said they were going to be a lot heavier on this record. From what I've heard so far it's all poppy :/

Not really. If you get depressed about all the things you don't like, your life must be pretty rubbish.
You've lost me mate, you were the one who suggested I was miserable because I didn't like Muse? Do you read the stuff you post or just let the keyboard take over?
