Music app not seeing music on device?

Hi

Just ended my 3 month trial subscription of apple music which in fairness was pretty good, could stream music no problem to car etc and would probably have kept it but got a 3 month premium spotify sub for 99p so thought id try that, for some reason although I can stream music to car its now very quiet which is odd, also when ive connected my phone to iTunes on pc its showing I have 82 songs on the device that id ripped from a few cd's but when I go to the music app on phone theres no songs listed?? Was going to see if the quiet sound was a spotify app issue with my car or not

Any ideas?

Don't know about the songs but the quietness thing may just be the volume setting on the iPhone. I often get into the car, start playing music/podcasts/whatever and it's quiet which is just the volume on the iPhone being right down low.

Volume was on full on iPhone and headunit didn't increase it at all, its either a faulty headunit or the bovee1000 I purchased is faulty as it worked perfectly in the wifes tiguan earlier
