Music player for Windows like PowerAmp on Android

Naaa... I'm blond and thus easily confused (according to my wife) so if I can use it! :D

I've been using Winamp since the early 2000's and just progressed through the easy v1.x and v2.x GUI's through the 'dog' that was the v3.x and now 'Big Bento' on the v.5x (dunno what happened to v4.x) it's just how I want it!

Most of the time it's just a 'Windowshade' bar at the top and I use the controls in the Notification area (must get some decent icons!).

Plus I just love the 'milkdrop' visualisation!, it can be mesmerising sometimes!! :D
 
Ah that makes more sense now!

I now look at WinAmp and think "get with the times Nullsoft!) :p
 
Still using Winamp lite here, with a skin I modded to my own colours

I just press 'insert' on the keyboard and browse to the folder I want
 
Not bad, functional and minimal :)

I sent a few albums to the MusicBee format converter (LAME mp3 HIGH profile) and it was so effortless and it copied and embedded artwork and meta data perfectly. I find this much better than WinAmp and am loving it :D
