There are so many goodies out there, but I think I'm actually done with upgrades for the next 18 months at least.

For GPUs, there's only one DX12 game, Ashes of the Singularity, in the offing that actually interests me, so there's no point in upgrading my GPUs; I'm happy with the Titan X being the pinnacle of DX11.

For a monitor upgrade, I'd be looking at high-sync 4K monitors for text and a variable-sync 21:9 5040x2160 monitor for gaming, all of which will require DisplayPort 1.3. Possibly the successor to the Rift too.

My i7-3770S is still perfectly adequate. It might struggle in Ashes, but that'll be the only CPU-intensive thing I'll be doing.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new technologies emerge this year and then pouncing a year later when they're mature.

Of course, I still may need to put together an entirely new separate system... :)

What do you think?

Headphones (wireless USB), so I don't annoy the neighbours (I live in a flat). I've got a 5.1 sound system boxed up.

Peripherals the only ones imo.

Your PC needs no hardware upgrades imo. You've got Titan X in SLI. Just save your dough and wait until the new kit arrives.

An impressively specced rig like yours shouldn't need upgrading unless you get at least a 4k monitor. It's always tempting to get the latest and greatest if you can afford it, but unless you have extremely deep pockets it's usually worth waiting it out for either generational leaps in performance or significantly reduced component prices before you upgrade. 5040x2160 would be a fantastic upgrade though. Dont think I've heard of one being in the cards, but I'd expect something similar to come along in one or two years time.
