mw2.another map pack coming soon...

Everyone that purchased MW2 has a lot to answer for.

Everyone that purchased MW2 plus the rip-off map pack needs 'readjustment'.

Please don't buy this one as well :(

It's possible that only a select few people on the team are working on the maps, the others work on the next game/project. I personally think they want to delay the release of this map pack, no point releasing it straight after the first one. Wait until the hype is gone and people have got bored, then sell them more crap.

They blatantly finished all of the maps when the game was released and decided to hold a couple back to release as staggered map packs to make more £££.

Another example of how the games industry is become more and more like big business. Sure it is a good way of making profit and it is their gamble, it will probably make a lot of extra profit and won't damage their image too much in the long run.

Not that I will be buying it.

It really annoys me that they have the cheek to call it "good value". I couldn't say that with a straight face.

That really wouldn't surprise me. They are obviously a business for money rather than a business for fans.

I haven't purchased the MW2 map pack and don't plan on doing so (unless dedi servers were to magically appear one day).
I wouldn't actually mind paying for map packs if it meant they would be well designed and released regularly as I get so bored of the same old maps.

Take BFBC2 for example, if we had the choice of 4 free maps in a year, or 14 paid maps in a year, I would gladly pay for more maps.

Well i wonder how many people have actually paid for the map pack? I hope no-one!
MW1 is what brought me back to quick fix PC gaming. But after no dedi servers for MW2 i wouldn't pay £10.99 for the maps and never will. And hopefully the community think the same and Activision sell Zero map packs.
Playing BC2 and finding it stupidly hard initially and nowhere near as much fun as MW1 or 2 for a quick fix. U need a proper team to play that game. But getting there slowly. Also maps are not as big as people make out, they just move along a bit when you take over a base etc.

I don't have an issue with the game pricing because I got it for £26 for my PS3 not the ridiculous £55 they where quoting before launch, but really £10 for 5 extra maps 2 of which aren't even new is a p*ss take.
Its up to you if you want to be ripped off and encourage them to carry this on.

You wish. They tailored it for there average consumer who happens to be your average brainless retard who pay whatever the company want without question because its the only game they actually play until the next in the series comes out or the next 'big thing' comes along.
