MW2 for PC Delayed

This is like the fourth time in recent memory where this delay for PC has happened (AC2, BatmanAA, Borderlands). What exactly is going on?! I'm reasonably saddened by the news because I want MW2 more than..... well more than any game this year but someone else has already raised a valid point - it gives some time to play L4D2, thus avoiding a difficult decision =p

awful news to be dropped on the pc community, i hope its not true.

i got a feeling they have made the game so console friendly, some of the perks they have shown in the video's are just so silly.

played mohaa cod cod2 cod4/5 and im sure cod6 will be great but i miss the days of no perks, each faction has their own weapons etc, as then what you played in public mp was almost the same as you played in mp clan matches.

I dont mind some perks but the unrealistic ones are just not needed, anything a man/his gun can't do shud not be in the game.

indeed, but i'd say turn them into bullet choice but maybe thats going a bit sim like.

What i hate is that rate of fire one, the gun fires the speed it fires, you cant just make it fire twice the speed as usual, also jugganaught, call it flak jacket but reduce speed when wearing cuz currently its superhuman 150% health

I don't usually but I have multiple weeks to take off before Christmas and nothing to take them off for.
Still though, what gives you the right to think yourself better than someone who does? Sorry that not everyone is as 'cool' as you.

What it basically boils down too, is, Microsoft know a vast majority of people have an X-Box and PC. By delaying the PC side of things, people with X-Boxes will more than likely buy the game for console. Microsoft at it's dirtiest.

I don't own a console, or ever will.

There's no way a "true" PC gamer could justify ditching KB/M just to get the game a wee bit earlier, so if what you've said does turn out to be their reasoning behind the delay, they obviously don't have a clue.

I've also read that this is only for EU. Release date isn't being changed for US/Canada.
Considering though that nobody has even confirmed the delay to begin with, I'd take it with a grain of salt... or pepper if you prefer it.

or more likely as it's an EU only delay there's a problem with one of the language translations or regulation/rating problems in one of the EU territories...
