MW2 - SP?

I'd like to buy the game, but not interested in multiplayer at all so it's a bit rich for my tastes. I thoroughly enjoyed the SP on the first one.

no this game is not worth the price for just the singleplayer, its 5 hours at the most for a decent gamer, the story is disjointed and silly, set pieces are nice but its nothing but a duckshoot really

The storyline is rubbish, but the levels themselves are very good

Perhaps some people prefer a game that lasts longer due to more actual content and story not just because it's so difficult they have to do the same content over and over again because they keep getting killed?

I think you need a good balance, the levels do seem very very short however make things too easy and where's the fun in just walking through each of them with no real challange :)

Obviously you need a balance but it's a bit poor to rely on your game being so difficult people have to keep replaying parts to make it last longer than 5 or 6 hours.

Being too easy isn't much fun either but even if someone chooses to play like that, it would be nice if they could still get a longer experience out of it.

Well I bought it via Steam and played a few levels last night. My initial impression is that the pace is just too fast. I feel as though I have to rush through each part, I can't just go slowly and take my own time, exploring the different areas and enjoying the efforts of the level designers and art team. They must have spent ages designing the levels, then you are whizzed through them without being able to appreciate them :(

The campaign is short but sweet, though I can't justify paying for the game just for the SP alone as not only is the campaign so short, but the game is expensive as far as PC games go.
