um what happened exactly? please do enlighten us.
no offence but why would you buy MW3 on PC???
After playing black ops which was a total let down as it ran like crap compared to MW2 im totally put off by the game.
also £40 for mw3 compared to £30 and less for BF3 really is quite crazy

Probably that for many, many people the game played very poorly on even high spec machines, the single player campaign (which IMO was excellent in places in MW2) was ridiculously dire, the multi-player featured lots of annoying things (like the worst spawn system known to mankind - kill a dude and he spawns behind you in knifing distance - WTF!?) and the fact you couldn't return the game as it was tied to Steam. Add in that Activision paid lots of reviewers to only say great things about the game and the fact that CoD games are generally quite expensive and lots of disgruntled people ended up with what was a pretty pricey, but useless box and couldn't do squat about it.

I expect he meant how the game ran like crap on a lot of more than capable systems.
For example on my old QX9650 (not sure if I had a 480 or 580 gtx at the time) I'd get loads of stuttering and fps anywhere between 60-120. Upgrading to an i5 2500k sorted this out instantly and gave perfect 120 fps.
Anyway, preloading now - cheers for heads up![]()
