bought a mx 1000 and trying too assign buttons in ghost recon,i wanted too assign move forward too side button but strugglin..downloaded latest drivers but no luck..any ideas please?

If you cannot assign it in the game settings, i.e the game won't recognise it - map a keyboard key of your choice to the side button in the setpoint mouse driver.
Then assign that key to forward - and you should find the side button has the same effect in the game.

I map the square brackets [ and ] to be the tilt left/right in the driver.
Then in games I select [ and ] to be lean left / right. In games I can now tilt the mouse wheel to peer around corners... works fine and yet the game never detects the tilt wheel.

yea i just assign keyboard shortcuts to all my buttons too. works a treat in CSS etc. makes it look like your runnign all kinds of scripts lol

dont forget to assign the back and forward keys to ALT+right and ALT+LEFT as they wll loose funtionality when you install the drivers

yea.. amazing how useful they are !

i didnt run it with the drivers for ages for this reason. until i realised i could assign them to the short cuts lol

and in games you can simply assign say 'grenades' to 'right arrow key' ... and it works a treat. !

i love this mosue but the battery seems to eb showign its age now. i will replace it with anther mx1000 !
