I am looking to buy a new mouse, the 2 that attracts me - Logitech MX Revolution and Razer DeathAdder.

Anyone with experience regarding the use of either of them, please post your opinions. Thanks.

what will you be using the mouse for? all mice are personal preference, in my time as a high level gamer i've trialed many mice and many mats!

my previous mice : razer diamondback / logitech mx518 / razer copperhead / razer v1.6 pro solution / intelli 3 explorer / razer death adder / intelli 1.1 / intelli 1.1 SS

and from all of those i've finally settled on the 1.1SS edition

I really like the Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 (old version), really consistent movement on my Steelpad QCK+. The mouse scroll can be a bit annoying at times, but great movement.

You didn't mention it, but I bought the Razer Copperhead (Chaos Green) last week and it's a very responsive, comfortable and attractive mouse, I run it at 2000DPI all the time and 1000MHz report rate.

Worth a look if you're after a gaming mouse.

I have the copperhead and the G5, both mice are very good.
Plus points for the copperhead, more buttons, it glows ooooh!!!. Its not a right handed mouse. It will work for right and left handers. On the fly sensitivity change.

Negatives, its too light, but you can buy a weight pack. Its small shape is unforgiving on large hands. Whatever buttons you have by your little finger are impossible to reach.

The G5 however I much prefer.
Plus points on the fly sensitivity. Weight pack to change to your preference. More comfortable on the hand than the copperhead. The left right wheel switch is nice and can be bound to be useful in games.

Negatives, only one thumb button, I also have a MX1000 that is phenomenal on the amount of buttons. If your left handed its not for you.

The new iteration of the G5 has more buttons. Out of the copperhead and G5 I definately prefer the G5 but its a matter of taste. I do like the heavier weight I can put in the G5.

Currently using the revolution and its amazing compared to my previous mouse of a MS wireless optical mouse.

Seems very responsive, when used for general pc use its amazing with the handy buttons/features.

For gaming I dont tend to play fps' so im not frantically shooting someone but the mouse is more than enough for Oblivion.

General PC Use - 5/5 Gaming - 4/5

Razer copperhead

Logitech G5

Logitech G7 (cordless)

Take your pick, I've tried a vast range of mice for general use and gaming, for games these ones are unbeatable. IMO
