Mx revolution...Problems

Just got this mouse today......Seems to cut out though all the time as though its running out of battery.

Is this normal with lazer mice?.....Im not using any mouse mat at all.

Seems to be a rite pain


Anyone else have the same mouse with the same ?

Have you got any other wireless devices nearby? My MX700 wouldn't like being near my linksys wireless usb card. Once I moved it away from the mouse everything was fine.

Are lazer mice meant for a Mouse mat?

Its just ive always had an optical and had no probs just unsire if its faulty or not


Im just uisng it on my desk which is like a wood grain effect dunno if the lines are making the mouse not respond...Seems a little strange though

I used to have a tiny bit of cutting out when I had the receiver plugged into the back of my PC. Now I've moved it to a port on my monitor I'm having no problems at all.

Hmm just tried this ...does seem better....will have to test over the next few days....if not its going back

Strange, I got this mouse on Friday and I think it's awesome, no cutting out at all.

I'd experiment with moving the receiver closer, even if it's just to check if your mouse is faulty, as it should be fine.

i had the same issue,

it wasnt going to sleep, it would totally cut out, on 3 diff machines also.

So ended up taking it back.

In a way glad i did, the g7 is a lot better lol.
