Mx100 or Intel 335

If you like updating firmware then the Crucial might be a better choice. Don't think Intel will be releasing any more firmware updates as it's an older model.

Planning a fresh install, so the image software doesn't concern me to greatly, but it may come in handy in the future. I'm leaning toward the Crucial simply as it is newer.

Is updating the firmware a hassle? Never had an SSD before except a WD Black2 dual thingy in my laptop which I've never touched.

Sounds like doing a BIOS update ect.

As there doesn't seem to be a consensus in terms of performance I'm gonna go for the Crucial cause its newer and a teeny bit more spacious.

Cheers guys :)

Intel or Samsung evo tbh. Tried the mx100, had my first bsod on my new build, back to an evo now. Though I've used older crucial without problem.

Macrium reflect cloning software is free and the dogs if you do need it
