Hi all, looking to change my ever trusty MX-518. Is there anything around up to the task?

I mainly play SWTOR and BF4, if it makes any difference.

I changed my MX510 for a Gigabyte M6880. I couldnt get on with any of the current logitech range, they were all uncomfortable for me :( Added bonus is the gigabyte was only a tenner :)

I wouldn't, the G602 is superior in every way. Newer tech, wifi instead of rf, optical rather than lazer, much nicer surface material and longer battery life.

Why is it cheaper?

Probably the rechargeable battery in the G700s making it more expensive. Not that it helps it, the G700s has woeful battery life of 8 hours. I'm still on my first set of batteries in my G602, 4 weeks and counting.

Thats the one ive gotten too.

My G500 has been feeling wierd lately and the clicking is very heavy and loud - it feels like either the switch or the part that connects it to the shell is going.

I dont really game on the pc with the G500 so i wasnt prepared to spend a fortune on a mouse.

The Gigabyte M6880 seemed to be perfect for those with larger hands that use a palm grip and want a larger, fuller shaped mouse :)

Also, i dont like the look of all the new logitech mice - the G500 looked quite understated, but the new logitech gaming stuff is a bit too aggressively styled for my liking

Well gone back to the G602 now.
