very little difference - no drivers required. plug and play. to switch dpi and report rate its done by pressing a recessed button on the bottom.
IMHO if you want a no frills mouse which just performs well, you cant go wrong with a Zowie FK1/2. A good majority of CS pro's use them too actually.
