I originally purchased my 2000 Nissan 200SX S14a Touring back in decemeber i left it standard up until about january then i craved a bit more power. So since then i have began to modify it now it is almost stage 1 mods as follows

Apexi Air Filter
Apex Frontpipe
Mongoose Decat exhaust
Walbro Fuel Pump
Manual Boost Controller
Prosport Gauges Oil Press/Oil Temp/Boost

Today i finally fitted my boost controller uped to boost to 13 psi which is the limit which is safe with out a stage 1 chip. Now its grin inducing to drive the boost controller removed to boost limit in 1st and 2nd gear stock its a measly 7psi in the first two gears now i get the full 13 :D.

Next up is my brakes i know i have a sticky piston on one of them so i am going to rebuild the front two get some braided lines new discs and pads. Then ill hopefully get a chip installed before MM6 and be running 15psi circa 260 bhp+.

Any enough of me some pictures.

Daz

Very nice Daz  Has the downpipe helped the turbo spool any quicker?

Seriously like the S14's! I was looking into one before I got the 420.

noticeably improved spool up times, the S14a had two cats the main and the one in the downpipe the downpipe one being the most restrictive. I noticed straight away after i fitted the front pipe the difference even with the stock exhaust still on.

The thing is with the S14 as stock the breathing is so restricted there are so much gains just had from breathing mods, it revs faster boosts harder all from giving it better lungs

You need to detango it! Other than that it's sweet. I love love love 200sx's.

This is thread going to be a bit of a kick in the teeth for Kate! :o :(

I'm loving how clean it is. Looks real tidy. I kinda wish I bought something a bit cheaper like this.

Will hopefully see it at the MM :)

Mate, where did you get that DIN sized gauge pod? I've looked for ages for one that isn't staggered or looks crap.

Not far off the same spec as mine...

I am running a FMIC as well as Greddy Boost gauge and RLTC... :D Ok... And a few more bits... ;)

BTW the DBPower brake kits are bloody good...

Thanks for the comments everyone :) answers to various questions below

Apex Performance for the DIN sized gauge pod i originally got one of those crappy staggered ones awful, this one fits like a dream gauges are a tight fit but it keeps them secure.

Already on the cards, it will get detangoed eventually the indicators and side repeaters are pricey for what they are and dont make me go faster ;).

thanks for that :) the bodywork is need of some attention really big gash down the side from tesco car park and some bumper scuff i still havent sorted since i got it. If you look around they are suprisingly cheap i paid £3600 for that with 43K on the clock.

Do you have any engine bay shots?

I purposely didnt take any engine bay pictures as its needs a clean and just havent got round to it yet. Beside i am getting my cam cover paint soon. Deep blue and a polished spark plug cover

Question for Bear, i remember seeing your 200sx at a RR once and loved it one of the reasons i got one myself what mods you got and what power is yours putting out now.

I wasnt too sure and the oval when i first fitted it, but then i started it up and took it for a blast then i loved it. :D nice sound without it being overly loud on the motorway.

Don't like the look of the exhaust but otherwise it's a great looking car; the front of them is esspecially nice.

Looks nice but you need new decent floor mats, those cheapo ones look mank after a few weeks of British Autumn Exposure!
