my 3dmark06 score basic settings

My score was 13044 3DMarks on 06 with basic settings and basic driver settings as well.
system is this:
[email protected]
memory geil black dragon 4gb(x2gb sticks) and @1:1
GPU 8800GT 512 @700/1900
was also done on windows XP

This a good score or average would you say? i thought i would have got more

Rubbish score tbh, you should reformat and start all over.

Alternatively you could take a look round this section and notice what other people are getting or the 3dmark sticky...!

I get 13800 with a Q6600 at £.6 and an 8800GTX at 625/2030 so I think you're doing ok there mate.

Dunno how much vista 64 knocks off though for me

Its abit low.

E6600 @ 3.4Ghz, 8800GT 512 : 700/1800/1000 I get 13296.

Its ok if your shaders are at stock I guess, 100Mhz increase in memory wont make the difference I dont think.

shaders are at stock(1530), ill look into what i can get out of shaders then, what recomendations ?lol
Its a xpertvision 8800GT not bad for £137 new with an aftermarket cooler onboard ,idle it runs at 43 degrees,with fan operating at only 33%
