Certainly sounds like a Jean-F off the cuff comment written in the most eloquent way.Didn't Jean-F say he had regular horizontal refreshment with his cousins?
Can I suggest you try again on paragraph 3?I wanted to do family research on my Dad's side, my Mum already does family on her side.
Turned out it's harder than expected. I attempted to do this after my Grandma passed away (our Grandad died before us kids were born). My Grandma left N.I, leaving behind some of her children (this we already knew), so these were my Dad's half siblings.
I tried to make contact with them but due to what my Grandma did they didn't want anything to do with us, so that's a dead end.
Then there's our Grandad who we never met, who turned out to not actually be our Grandad. Turns out my Dad has half Asian DNA but for some reason this was never mentioned by his Mum and his birth certificate has down the one we knew as Grandad (but he wasn't Asian).
So to summarise my failed attempt at a family tree. One side of the family who wants nothing to do with us and a Grandad we knew nothing about, no name, country, region etc... in the end I gave up trying.
Can I suggest you try again on paragraph 3?
I say that because my late father has a long lost brother, whom we didn't know about till he died. My Mum is certain she received a "bizarre scam call" in the late 90s, 18 years before my father died, from a man saying he was his brother.
If only we knew what we knew now/time had passed to heal all wounds and all that jazz.
It's a good thing if they are dobbed in and put in prison so they can't murder anyone else.I'm not sending my DNA and inadvertently dobbing in any of my murderous family members.
Hey now, he was kind to me. Best Christmas presents ever. No idea where he got the money from! It's a good thing if they are dobbed in and put in prison so they can't murder anyone else.
