my 64 was running a bit too hot

70 Degrees bah, check this out!

My neighbour asked me to come round to look at his computer as it kept freezing in windows whenever he tried to do anything that was hard on the processor.
After showing me it locking up by doing a virus scan I hit the reset button.
When bios flashed up I just happened to notice that his unknown cheapo brand Celeron 2.93 was running a touch hot at 103 Celcius!!! I thought no way, that mother's fried. I asked him how long it's been freezing, he said "oh a few weeks now" lol.
Cleaned it out with a hoover, took off the heatsink and applied some artic silver and reseated, now sitting at 29C Idle and 38C full load, much better, from now on he cleans it out every month (coal fire)

I'll have to suggest that tights idea to him for the vents on the side of the case.

Wow that is pretty sick, you know most of that is human skin.... errwww

That interesting there on the bed because the CM210 doesnt have any native intake points too, Hmmm wonder how you got so much dust in the case.

is the saying , if your pc is clean , so is your house :) i hate dust , i even wipe my pc case and case fans with pc wipes & clean my mouse & mouse mat when i finish

I can't stand dust but my pc and peripherals are very dusty with the carpets, bed sheets and curtains right next to my setup :(

That's just reminded me to clean my case today. It's been through 6 months of Uni without ever been opened, time to see what the damage is.

Wanna get a Dyson mate. Its cyclone technology eliminates dust clogging!

Yes I do know they don't, it's a joke...

Wow never seen one that bad!

When you think about it, around 90% of dust is from dead skin. Makes you think about who you invite into your house! :p :D
