Hey guys,

Well I thought it was about time I showed off my new arcade cabinet !

I purchased it about a month ago as a non working original Paperboy cabinet from 1985

I put about 150 - 200 hours of work into it and about £350 in total but what I have now is worth twice that at least but it is priceless to me :)

I forgot to take pictures of the cabinet when I first got it lol, I was just to keen to pull it apart and start converting it.

I done regular video logs for each step of the process and you can check them out on my youtube channel

Hope you like it, let me know what you think ;)

Lol, be a man and show her who wears the trousers ! I moved this in to the dining room and had to move the dining table out of the way to fit it in : ) Yay

The missus is only just talking to me again :D

Thanks mate

Haha, thats quality. Actually moving furniture to get it in, she must love you :D

Your awesome.

I want that in my house. I dont think there's room for both the wife and the cabinet though.

I might tell her I'm leaving her for a paper boy...........*crickets*

*acquisition of coat*

Awesome!!

I only had time to watch part of the video, but will watch the rest when I get time.

Would you mind saying what is in the machine, Hardware wise?
All I know from your above reply is that it has 2 rewired joysticks or joypads, but a full list would be great!!

Thanks mate, yes no probs. The PC inside is a Abit AV8 mobo, AMD 3700+ CPU, 2 gig Corsair XMS Platinum RAM, Nvidia 7800GS gfx card, 120gb IDE hard drive, windows XP

The controls were built from scratch using a proper I-pac interface which emulates a USB keyboard. I was originally going to rewire some joypads but eventually went the i-pac route

The monitor is a 22" Sony Trinitron CRT
