My awwwww! thread

It's a shame it won't retain its cuteness in a few months. It will be a deadly predator, awaiting every moment to pounce onto your face.

- I'm too use to my cats having kittens so the cuteness of these little sock munchers has worn away :(

Is he a gecko? I really want a gecko, As a teenager I kept tarantulas/lizards/stick insects and all kinds of wonderful creatures, I only bought her a kitten as I don't think she would have appreciated a tarantula having arachnophobia and all, hopefully when it comes to me getting a pet I can say "well you did get the kitten"

Make sure it doesn't come near me and it will be fine, should have got a dog, kittens are great, cats are pointless!

Depends on the circumstances, if you want an independent animal that doesn't occupy your life cats are great. They greet you on your return from work, give you some smooching, sleep by your side, rinse and repeat. They're cheap to look after. I love my cat, he's always by my side in my room.

Dogs, you need to get up to walk them in all weathers, give them attention constantly, they're expensive, especially if they need the vet for conditions, and you need a garden ideally and your house will stink of dog and will get ruined.

In a nutshell :D

(I have both :p)

Yip he is, leopard gecko but unfortunately I dont have any of my exotic pets anymore but I re-housed them to friends and so on so I knew they were safe.

Leo's are great pets, very friendly and great as beginner reptiles too. I loved my leo's had a fair few aswell alongside frogs, scorpions and snakes, shame I had to let them all go though they were awesome little things. I say you should read up on them and then get one without the mrs knowing :p

All great points for getting a cat instead of a dog.

Me and my soon to be wife just moved into our first house and as a moving in present I bought her a kitten,

She is so bloody cute even though she is a right pain at times, at the moment she has snuggled up behind my monitor.

Your wife should sleep in a normal bed like a normal person; there's no way she can fit behind a monitor. What the hell is wrong with you?
