My best mate...

i dread the day i ever get a similar phone call. it terrifies me how easy a life can be lost. try to remember the best times and be there for his family if they do need anything

RIP alex

I've lost family and pets in my life.. never a best or very close friend.

I imagine it's incredibly hard.

To Alex.

Sorry to hear for your loss mate. I feel for you.

I lost my best mate when i was 18 to a car accident. 24 years later although the pain has gone, I still miss him and my 14 year old son has his name. It changed my perception on life without a doubt.

The pain does take time but it's replaced with happy memories and it's those memories that will keep him alive in spirit.. More so than pictures ever will.

Sorry for your loss fella,
It's going to be hard for every one who knew him and shared his life.. you'll feel empty inside at losing him so early in his life and your shared friendship.

If, as he sounds from your post he was an outdoor, live life to the full kind of guy then at least when he went it was doing something that he proberly loved.

hang onto that thought and keep him alive inside you with the good memories of times you had together, at first this will make you cry and feel sad but over time it will make you smile and you'll be able to share those smiles with other people who knew him like you did.

RIP Alex.
