My Bike has been Stolen

Sounds like they've crossed a lot of wires.

If the indicators are flashing really fast it usually means a relay is gone.

If you can get a hold of a service manual then you should be able to see which wires go where.
 
I can't find no service manuals for honda XR 55 plates.

Just realised my head light is real dim unless i put my full beam on.

Could it be a duff battry?
 
Well I am glad to hear you got the bike back relatively unscathed!

When I had my bike nicked years ago it came back unrecognisable, totally destroyed! I am not sure why they even bothered to return it to be honest?

Good luck getting it back to how ity should be
 
I know I am very lucky to get the bike back in the state I got it back. I thought it would be burned out or stripped or even crashed.

Am I right to say the Honda XR has the same Engine as the 125 CBR? So would the service manual be the same then in a way?

Well from what I saw so far after taking the Front Panel off, the only wires the unplugged (not ripped apart) where the Ignition wires. I will take a photo later and show you what wires were unplugged.

I may take the battery out tonight and give it a charge and check it gives off correct voltages when on and revving the Engine. How long should it be on charge for?

What would be the correct voltages?

12.6v when Idle? And around 14v when Revving? I guess if the voltages are too low than my battery is broken?

If that does not work I will check for other loose wires or even stripped wires. I would rather try eliminate problems 1 by 1 before i go and buy new bits as I am skint due to the £250 they “stole” of me hehe 
 
I Fixed it. :) It was a 20amp fuse that went. Lucky my bike had a spear next to it whoop :).

Easy fix, and my baby is back on the road. Just need to ring the police and let them know I have it back
 
WHOOPS... spare fuse not spear :D

Well its unknown if there got caught or not, as apprently the police still does not know it's been recovered..... long story.

I want to leave it outside unlocked again but hooked up to to a 100000 volt generator so as soon as they touch it they DIE! Is that legal? :)

Nah fire's a bit quick tbh, you want to get some acid and let it slowly eat through their legs lol
 
Bad luck, I think my bike is due to be stolen soon.

Missus spotted a van pull up one week ago at 3am in morning, guy walked out with clipboard stood by my bike, scribbled stuff down and drove off.

Man if only I had been awake, these gangs steal to order

wow that is dodgy as!!!!! should park it up on the garage and just put cardboard boxes with a bike cover over it for when they return... maybe a few bee hives in there... will get quite a shock uncovering that haha!
