My bike is so quiet.. :(

Here's a picture of the bolts I was talking about

I still think it's better than a standard quiet pipe, for safety and riding pleasure
Prefer my Stealth mode... I can hear my engine better.
Loud pipes just feel childish to me nowadays - Even taking a proper big V-Twin unbaffled into a tunnel and making people think a ******-off Balrog is storming up behind them!!

Yeah it's a full 4-1.. I've noticed that there's two bolt type things where the downpipes end... Can I not get a slip on?
There are slip-ons for the Divi 600, yeah.
That goes 4-2-1, so you'd just take the 1 off and slip a pair onto the 2s.

I know Delkevic do some 4-2s and I think there's even an Akrapovic. The Nexxus one looks to be about £450.

Black Widow look to do both 4-1 and 4-2, and there's a nice shiny looking Marving one in 4-1.

Loads of options.

Mine came with an after market exhaust when I bought it so already is nice and loud with being obnoxious, but £150 isn't a great deal when it brings such joy to your face when going through tunnels and also means people actually hear you coming (apparently this is more important than the tunnel noise :D)

Yeah £150 isn't much and I do miss being noticed but that's literally the cheapest aftermarket exhaust available for my bike. The Akrapovic one is £400 and I don't wanna know what others are paying for full systems but if you enjoy it then it's worth it I suppose.

It's always bikers who say this, with their Loud Pipes Save Lives stickers and everything. Never car drivers saying it...
Because in a car you are soundproofed, windows shut and have the stereo blasting AOR out, so won't ever hear even the straight-throughs on a Rocket III... believe me, we tried this!

I dunno I had a stupidly loud delkevic exhaust on my Kawasaki and I saw first hand how other car drivers reacted and pedestrians too, plus I can hear bikes filtering most of the time when I'm driving. Probably useless on motorways but in cities it worked.

You'd be lucky to get a different aftermarket manufacturers slip-on to join up to a Motad Nexus system, they are quite different to the bikes original system. The Nexus system are a bit pants to be honest, they are one of the cheapest options to get through the MOT when the original system inevitably rots out.

This is what the 4-2-1 Divvy system looks like:

Funnily enough I'd seen both those vids and seriously thought about it when I first got the bike but I just don't think it's worth it now as that's quite a lot of money to me and as I'm currently working just outside of Westminster filtering feels safe enough without being loud.

You had the ER6-F, right? I remember your thread with it, you had a after market exhaust? I can't remember what it was though, but that should give you an idea if its worth it or not. For me personally a after market exhaust is a must, most stock exhausts are ***** excluding the BMW S1000XR or the new RR. :p

Yeah it had a silly loud Delkevic exahust on it :D

I liked being heard especially when filtering and it did make the bike sound beefy but it was also annoying and unlike my current bike I couldn't take it out at 2am to do a bit of shopping like I can now, my neighbours would have killed me.

If I have enough money for a fun bike rather than everyday transport then yeah I'd put on an aftermarket exhaust but with what I have right now it's like when kids to similar to 1.0 litre Fiestas.
