My Brand New Website Design - What do you think?

Hi everyone,

I've nearly finished creating the new design for http://www.teddingtonlodge.com/

Yes, it's messed up in IE 6 here, fine in Firefox 2.

Internet Explorer likes to be rubbish at following standards, maybe you could put a browser check in to have the new layout only for non internet explorer users?

Same here in IE 7.0.

Can you post the code of the page m8?.

Looks nice, will be interested to see how you continue to develop this as I've got a clients website to do in the coming months for a holiday home type affair.

Only thing I would say as far as initial impressions go I would suggest the header area where you have the faded image of the building itself, is a little too "subdued" for my liking.

Maybe play around with the opacity of that so that it comes through a tad stronger?.

You have a good point. I think I'm gonna get a wider angle picture of the building and put it in the middle of the header, thanks for the tip
