So just a aload of pics really...... Take them and use them for what ever you like , Just gives an idea of the amount of "Spec me a machine and other questions regarding " How to ... " ."

Thanks

Jay!

I ask myself that question now, At the time of purchese and the money i had , This was the board to choose.

Regret it now.... rather had gone for the EVGA for another £40

Thanks !

Jay!

I Dont see how i could have done a guide, People know how to do this stuff, Its not rocket science.

Just some pictures for the public to view and get an idea of what they may or may not puchese

I actually find posts like these very useful. Nice pictures , I had no idea the
8800GTS was as wide as the motherboard, thats a monster of a card.

Hopefully I can have a similar system to yours soon, nice build.

Naz.

I agree I think more build posts would be good, its interesting to see how other people are getting on with their builds and seeing what parts they have purchased. I might put some pics of my build up once I get the last few parts.

Hi guys ,, Psu is an antec He neo 500Watt Power Supply , Not the best but it does the job, Not much watts inside the case. 74Gb because i had a 120gb before and never used more than 40Gb , So 74gb is pletty for games and some pictures

Thanks !

Jay!

Okay i have an update :

Here im going to show you how to cool you 8800 Cards much better , Very simple. Requires no tools and dremels :p

Simply remove the pci covers from the case , And thats it !!! Heres a piccy of the airflow inside my case

If you look at picture number 3 of the 8800 you will see 4 slots , Now most people think the heat goes out of the pci bracket which is supplied with the 8800. 80% of the heat comes out of them little 3 slots.

Tempuratures dropped around 10 degrees after i removed the pci slots.

So , Theres a tip

How come you have got your ram in slots 1 and 3?

I think i am right in saying that the RAM works better when paired up with the same RAM, and in the right coloured RAM slots.
Eg. 1&3 - Orange slots
2&4 - Black slots

I think its something to do with the motherboard using both RAM modules and using them to achieve the best performance/speed.
