I can tell yuo know it wont be the mobo battery, when I first got my PC I had to reset the CMOS, I took the battery out, move the jumper and waited, put everything back and booted and used windows again. I even rebooted a few times.
I saw something in the corner of my eye that was shiny, it was my battery sitting on my table, I forgot to put it back in
what a pranny huh!
All that happened is my setting didn't save properly without the battery, but it all worked!
