Even after a pritty average demo im still quite looking forward to this. I loved the first one, even if this is more of the same its worth the money imo.

Any-one else received shipping notice yet?
 
I got a region free copy a couple of weeks back. I never played the first but I am quite liking this. I really like the forensic bits but I have only had a couple of them so far (I have played for about 2-4 hours I think)

It seems that it is like this.

Walk through random environment > few scary moments > beat up random druggies/homeless people/Incredible hulk but not green lookalikes > forensic scene > repeat!

I am enjoying it though. There are some spooky moments :)

The MP is completely shocking though. I played for 30 mins with a load of American guys and we were all talking about how crap it was.
 
Yep got my email this morning saying that along with Condemned 2 my copy of Dark Sector has also been despatched.

All yesterday it was being packed now today this, I'm not happy.
Due to their offshore location I probably wont get it until saturday now:mad:
 
They've added too much crap to the combat (combo's), so it's lost some of it's simplicity - not a fan of that even though this is from 20mins of gameplay so far. Also...Rosa has lost a fair bit of weight hasn't she? :D
 
I only played the original on my PC, but it managed to scare the pants off me. Now I have a PS3, I may have to try the console version :D
 
Finished it earlier today, picked it up yesterday and couldn't put it down, though I did have 1 hell of a freaky night in between :o

Felt it improved quite nicely over the original, I did have trouble working on some of the combo's, so I just resulted to the trusted parry and whack 'em routine, failing that a bullet to the face seemed to do the job :p

Wasn't a fan of the hallucinating levels and the final fight was a bit poor compared to the 1st game

Nice progression of the story though, answered a lot of left over questions from the 1st game.
 
I'm on the hallucinating level atm. I have yet to continue playing from that point. Too scared :o

I've got mixed opinions on this one. It is as scary as the first one for me, but some gameplay elements just annoy. All these lame combo's detract from the simplistic combat that made the first so enjoyable. Even finding hotspots to ram enemies heads into can be a bit of a pain.

I keep running into sodding firearms in this game....not a fan of that either. Also why has everyone lost weight? Rosa, and the main char for instance! Bring back the tubby cozzer from Heroes ffs.
 
hmmm, Edge literally said this was crap and to stay away (well, i think from what i read) i may now have to get this! :) loved the original, even though it scared me a little. espcially when the guy jumps through the glass of one of the office doors :(
