My Cooler cavalier !!!

I wish it was done yesterday so i could use it :D but painting takes time and also i will be buying watercooling bits over the next 3 to 4 weeks so patients my friend or just keep looking at finished projects :p .

NO! you cant do that to me, thats outrageous! :D:p

ok ill check checking back, but i expect at least one update everyday ;)

I have now finished the painting and will let it cure before wetsanding and then putting a few clear coats on or wetsanding and using a cutting compound not sure which yet .

The pics are just a preview of how it looks but still a lot to do yet .

Should get the BFG 680i mobo this week and also looking to buy a D-TEK fuzion block so slowly but surely i am getting there :D .

I am looking forward to when it looks more complete , i am looking for a black grill for the side panel any grills you guys would recommend ???

Loving the red n black, stands out really well..
Good luck with the rest of the project mate :)
will keep a close eye! (Y)

Its been a while since i updated the thread so here goes , i flat backed the paint for the panels and the top of the case and was just waiting for my local halfords to get some rubbing compound in and after 4 days they did so this afternoon i did the first application of compound on the side panels and tomorrow i will do the top of the case and i reckon 3 or 4 will be enough to get the finish i require :) .

The compound used .

Half a panel done and half not .

And finally both panels with 1 application and it looks a lot better already .

More to follow soon and i got my D-TEK fuzion ordered now :D .

I have been meaning to update the thread , after some thought i decided i wasnt happy with the red paint so as you will see in the pics soon the case isnt going to be red - black :p.

I now have some of the parts needed but because of my changes to the project and also finances not allowing of late it will probably be a few week before i am finally setup and about time :D .

I only bought a couple of metre of the xspc tubing for a start to see what i thought of it and i am pretty impressed with it soft and flexible so the final order i make i will buy some more .

Now the new case pics !

So changes to the project the blowhole has gone and now i have a side panel window and the radhole in the roof is a top window now , i will now just use 1 360 rad instaed of the 2 rads i was going to use , i have the acrylic clear panel but need to buy a jigsaw blade for the job i only have steel - ali - wood blades .

The more i thought about it , it did look abit naff not painting the chassis so i have done it now with black hammerite ;) just need to spray in the roof now then its done and i have used nearly a can already  .

I got a parcel this morning :)

tagan.jpg

It is the first time i have owned a tagan psu i did think about several others but i spoke to someone that bought this psu and he rates it so that was good enough for me , i like the cables a lot and the only downside is it isnt modular but i wasnt bothered otherwise i wouldnt have bought it :p .

thermochill.jpg

The monster arrives :D these thermochill rads are huge , i have already washed it out with hot water as recommended and to be honest it looked pretty clean anyway and just need to get some screws because the ones supplied i wont be using , my damn fill port hasnt turned up though .

Wow that is a monster of a rad. My next ideal upgrade would be something along these lines. Fitting watercooling into my Antec Titan :)
