Head on, no, but clip him enough so that he had to stop, yes.

Ridiculous. Closing speed probably well over 100mph, you do whatever the hell you can to avoid an impact. You dont, in that split second, start considering insurance implications.

Spot on.

You might turn the wheel and get into the ditch or up a tree... or as with me, you wait with incredulity for the fool coming the other way to realise their mistake!

Methinks Paradigm's credibility stock price went through the floor

threatening to go to the insurance watchdog type people always seems to get cases going a bit quicker in my experiences ;)

this wont help if they genuinely are spending time trying to sort it out mind.

Well my insurnace is on Third Party so they are not willing to fork out, The main concern if that when my renewal comes in December, i may not be honered 2 years NCB, and this changes my premimum by around £1000!

I feel for you mate, but expect a long wait. My neighbour is currently paralysed in one of her shoulders following an accident at low speed. Woman just decided she it was her right of way (because she had her indicator on  ) and ploughed straight through her Saxo.
That was over two years ago and she hasn't seen a single penny still to this day from the 3rd party.
