My current build not decided on the ram any recommendations?

if it were me id get some Samsung green, they are cheap for the speeds they can do and they are low profile which is what you want for big air coolers regarding clearance ect

they run well on gigabyte z77 so should run better with the stronger imc of haswell

I can run them 2133-2200mhz on my gigabyte z77

yeah tough choice on what ram and now seconding guessin regarding the motherboard and downgrade to a abit cheaper board. I know the one i picked has best reviews but tad expensive for a board.

PS. Is there a discount code going around atm? heard there was a 5% off somewhere

Played with the spec a bit and worked a good GPU in too, you may already have one as I noticed the PSU was also missing from the spec aswell. I left out the OS as you could run the Enterprise (evaluation) edition of Windows 8 for free on a 3 month trial to help you decide if you like it before you buy. There should be a preview of Windows 8.1 soon too.

Best of luck with the build bud, I look forward to seeing what you settle on :)

I think most of us agree you can save cash on the mobo for sure....

As you have the 680 lightning I've done my best to maintain the colour scheme. This mobo is cheaper than your original choice but still has plenty of features inc. onboard wifi. I'm loving that Gigabyte have ditched the blue PCB on their mobos but Asus slapping gold on theirs is looking a bit cheap to me....each to their own I guess.
