my dj setup

the platter on the top can be manipulated exactly like a vinyl. It doesnt spin, but if you drag it back slowly it will briefly pitch down the record in the same way it does on a 1210 when you use your finger on the edge, or grip the spindle.

they are fun to use and very versatile. open up lots of possibilities.

not really as fun to use as vinyl at first. but once ya get to grips with em they can be awesome

Yep - but i found one big problem with CDs. It sounds odd, but i found it really difficult to remember song names with tracks. With Vinyl, you can see the record spinning, plus you had the sleeve and everything. With CDJs, i used to forget what was what! It sounds daft and maybe it was just me but there you go!

Are you Richie Hawtin?

Are you Richie Hawtin?

Richie has Allen and Heath in his setup, but other than that he aint far off lol.

if i was rich enough id be having a new dj setup. but to be honest im skint, and it aint on my list of priorities these days :)

richie hawtin, i wish :P

only reason i have got so much stuff is cause i had a pretty good income and i was still living with the rents so i had lots of disposable income, not quite how it is now :(

Didnt you post that Richie Hawtin video up on here Hedge? Very interested that is.
Paul van Dyk uses the same Allen & Heath with his keyboards and Ableton.
