She's a beaut! but, is it worth changing for anything in particular? I have never overclocked the cpu and wouldnt mind giving it a go, but if things go up in smoke i cant really afford a replacement. However, if i were to upgrade is it worth going for a quad? i only use my pc for gaiming really and its never let me down (except for my latest 8800GTS 640 which decided to eat itself).

What was nice is that with my 4870, 4Gig ram and the above CPU i got an average of 35FPS in Crysis with everying thing on high! i was surprised to say the least!

So,is it worth upgrading my CPU? or perhaps my ram? Ive only got the relatively cheap Corsair XMS2 6400 C5 stuff. I hear the Geil ram at the momment is great?

If you can't afford to replace then don't overclock...

However the E6600 will do 3gig without any voltage adjustment needed which is pretty much as safe as stock and would give a decent boost to your gaming performance.

I don't reccomend overclocking on the stock heatsink tho. Just watch the temps if its going above 60C then you want some better cooling really.

Overclocking isn't that hard and you would have to do something pretty damn harsh to kill your processor. It is a good overclocker, I would give it a go.

Get a new cooler, an Xigmatek HDT-S1283 or OCZ Vendetta 2 would be a good investment at that price.
