he drinks a lot of tea you see. From this tea drinking, he gets quite badly stained teeth, and would like to know if anyone can recommend a product that you can buy over the counter to assist!

He has regular dental check ups and they are always pleased with his teeth, but because its private health care he would have to pay a small fortune for a spit and polish!

Your advice (for him) would be greatly appreciated!

he was advised to just swirl some water around his mouth after every cup, but how annoying is that!

What is this Pearly stuff you speak of!?

Only real way to make a difference is to get them professionally whitened. Over the counter kits and whitening toothpaste don't do much to badly stained teeth (though help keep white teeth from becoming stained again).

How about chewing Extra whitning gum after every cup of tea?

how about not drinking tea?

Heathen!

I have slightly stained teeth from a serious tea habit. I don't really care; my teeth are very strong, straight as you'd want and I've never had a filling.

But I may be able to get them whitened for free via my girlfriend's workplace...So I might go for it ;)

Just tell him you don't have time to be friends with someone with such manky teeth and that he should be a real man and drink whisky not tea... tell your friend...oh wait...

Book an appointment with your dentist.

Get a spit and polish job I did when I had problems with medicine I was taking that stained my teeth.
