The motherboard is itx you can fit a full sized motherboard in your case.

Msi x570 tomahawk Wi-Fi is a good motherboard

Samsung m2 is overpriced get a western digital sn 550 for £100

Nice cooler but get the chromax version which is all black, alternative cooler.

Sorry what do you mean. Is the motherboard I picked not good? Will it fit into the case I linked?

Will it handle high ends GPU?

The motherboard is good but its a small motherboard for use in smaller cases though you can use it with yours.

But why restrict yourself when theres no need.

M2 drive just get one large and particion it for windons.

CODE My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £400.48 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Let us know what you'll be using it for. Any games or programs etc. Agree with the above though. May as well get a full size mobo if your case allows.

Streaming? OK well deffo go for an 8 core at least then like 5800x, lots of ram 32gb, but go for full size so you can get an extra 2 sticks in later if you need, and the biggest baddest gpu you can find. Heh. Good luck with that atm though

Mainly heavy gaming with a lot of background tabs and maybe streaming eventually
Oh and storage. Lots and lots of storage if you're recording and uploading obviously.

SSD's are still massively more expensive to hdds so if you're on a budget I'd just get a 1tb for os and games and like a 4tb wd blue or two.

I plan on waiting for the 3080ti. Thoughts?

I will get a 1tb to start with. Which one will be the fastest?

tbh if it were me id avoid the overpriced pci gen 4 nvmes and just get a descent brand, non QLC one.

eg The wd blue ones are great, sabrent as well, or if youve got the cash the samsung ones however bit of a waste IMO as aren'tmuch quicker than the blue nvmes but at +30% of the price.
Should be able to find one of these for around £90

I see. I went with samsung purely for the brand and I know they produce good stuff. Can I mix and match ssd? For example get samsung then a random blue names in a few months?

You can but why ?

Getting the best balance of price to performance makes most sense but its your money.

Oh only because I have ssd from my old system which has os on it and once I get my new build I'll attempt to get some files off it and try to fully wipe it to put in my new system. Does that make any sense and is it possible to plug old ssd as a external to copy over folders?

I'm looking for 1tb for new system and old ssd it samsung so wasnt sure if I could use different brands etc

Reuse your your samsung is fine and mixing brands isnt a problem.

You should be able to copy files over to your new drive even with old windiws on as long as your new drive is selected as first boot

They are good if you can afford them for sure. Correct me if I'm wrong guys but they're still the best? Even sabrent?

You won't go far wrong with the items you have listed for your upgrade. Only suggestion I have is to swap the memory for 4 sticks of 8MB each - the old mantra that 2 sticks of RAM is best has been stood on its head by the new generation of Ryzen processors which generally give better results (ie FPS) when running on 4 sticks of memory.
Good luck.
