CFTrust is a cause very close to my heart, did you do the rally to raise money for them or is the book going to be giving a slice ?

I did also wonder that. It was about drugs, but also about handing them in to the police. Nothing illegal. Would have been nice for a mod to let me know it was going to be closed/deleted, rather than just ninja wiped

Yeah, we've done events on the island for the last 10 years - the rally raised £15k for CFT, and in total I think we stand at between £550k and £600k. I organised a triathlon in July that also raised £5k
 
Well done Tres, Fine achievment.

As for inspiring people, reading your orignal thread has inspired myself to have a go at the Rally next year. (Thanks for all your advice)

I'll throw some real cash your way in exchange for a real "I can smell it" copy of your first ? publication if its possible some time in the future.
