My first build budget £550 i3

well I eventually got the ryzen 5 2600 with AX370 GAMING 3 and TEAM GROUP ram , and low and behold no display...... I cannot for the life of me think why .

GPU installed ?

Wait, saw you had gtx 1050ti

Is CPU fan spinning ? Lights turning on , on the board ?

Board also had fault lights, think it's bottom right corner of that board, lights up for either CPU/GPU/ram/mobo error

let me try and upload an an image , but yes CPU fan spins GPU installed and fan spinning , no error lights on motherboard , ram installed in correct channels , when i power on the motherboard lights and fans come on as usuall and the pc is running as far as i know it just doesn't output any display , has anyone actually bought this bundle before and it worked out the box? if not that's kind of worrying from a customers perspective

If there's no error lights displaying on the board and fans have all powered up , could either be two things.

Old bios - but board should be flashed with latest from Gigabyte attending OCUK (@GIGA-Man )
Display cable or GPU port.
When on have you tried plugging in cable using other hdmi/Display port or different cable whilst on ?

basically i had a monitor plugged in through HDMI to DVI adapter, DVI at monitor end and HDMI at PC end .
maybe hdmi wont function on new build without drivers or something i have no idea i just want it fixed :(

Show the back of the PC as well where you're plugging in the cables.

Does the monitor have anything other than DVI?

Which 1050Ti did you buy?

Sounds to me like the board hasn't been flashed with the latest BIOS, so it doesn't support the CPU.

HDMI to DVI cables, well, all the ones I've used are passive, never seen an active one. DP to HDMI yes, but not DVI.

Gets my vote.. :)
Dunno why people are pushing that 2600 bundle (which is a great deal btw) as stated before there is no guarantee that the processor will work on that board out of the box.
I had the ryzen 5 1600 until very recently, a formidable processor :)

I warned ya this may happen

Highly likely.
Posted from Gigabyte they went in to flash all bundle board bios due to shipping wrong box before hand .
Either they missed some or they only flashed boards for the bundle deal and one was picked that's not park of the bundle selection .
Hopefully rep is able to answer.
Looking at different boards and vendors, they all act differently with unsupported Bios, some turn on and off. Some power down and some hang at boot stages , some display rights which turns off .

Hello all,

All the boards for the bundle should have been flashed, you can either have us collect the board and check it and flashed if that's is what's needed. The other option in case its not BIOS is contact OCUK, I cannot talk on their behalf but they may just swap it. If you want us to collect, check and if needed flashed. I can arrange it at our cost and if all goes well have it back with you in three to four days if it is BIOS. Contact OCUK today and see what they say, let me know how you want to do once you have.

Thanks

Mine all worked out of the box, try another cable, reset the bios, re-check the GPU is in properly. If this fails sent it back. Make sure the cable goes to the GPU and not the motherboard(yes I've done this before)double check everything first.
