Hi everyone, this is my first home built pc, i would like opinions befor i go and kill my credit card

will these parts work together?
what would be better (not wanting to spend much more than this (less would be nice))?
what power of PSU will i need (or should i get)?

CP-168-AM AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.20GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail (CP-168-AM) (already have this)

MB-144-AS Asus M2N-SLi Deluxe (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-144-AS)

MY-097-CS Corsair 2GB DDR2 Value Select PC5300 Dual Channel Kit (2x1GB) (VS2GBKIT667D2) (MY-097-CS)

OcUK GeForce 7950 GT 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-046-OK)

any and all comments will be appreciated

A core2duo would eat that 4200 for breakfast lunch and dinner -_-
I would try selling it, if not then i would look at the ram consider getting some faster 6400? perhaps. Good card and atm a nice price!

nuts

a friend sugested this card instead of the one above

HIS ATI Radeon X1900 GT ICEQ 3 SILENT Heatpipe 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-057-HT)

how does this one compare
is the OcUK GeForce worth the extra money

also ive got a cheap case (Casecom), it came with a 500w psu, would it be ok to use this, or should i bin it and get a new psu

im trying to keep costs down, but i would rather not sap lots of expensive components

do i risk anything using a cheap psu, or are they just a less constant/reliable at supplying power
