The GTX570 reference coolers expell heat from the rear of the card unlike the TwinFrozr versions.

So you dont need any extra fans for the case.

And the Z68 chipset supports a few more features than a P67 chipset.

SLI might be possible with a bit of effort:

The pins might need bending down a bit to get the connectors on.

AMD cards for illustration purposes only.

Retarded MSI motherboards, how dumb is the designer of them, and to make it even worse they include plastic blocks to make them even taller.

You don't need the plastic block.

I'd just bend the metal pins down a little if needed and then the connectors would fit.

A bit of a faff but it should work.

sorry about the confusion on the budget id costed it up on the checkout with only 1 gfx card not the 2, my bad...

Thanks for the advice, been stroking my chin over this for weeks now.

So..

-Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz

-MSI P67A-GD53 Intel P67

-2xMSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 OC Twin FrozR III Power Edition 2048MB GDDR5

-Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

-XFX Pro 850W Core Edition Power Supply

-OCZ Agility 3 60GB 2.5" SATA-3 Solid State Hard Drive
I read there have been some recent issues with OCZ drives? Intel ones are supposedly a little slower but more reliable?

-Microsoft Windows 7 Bundle - Home Premium 64 Bit + Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB

-Thermalright Silver Arrow CPU Cooler
I really just want something quiet that will do a good job, wont be moving the pc around.

-Cooler Master CM-690 II Lite Dominator Case + Fractal Design 140mm Silent Cooling Fan

-LG GH22NS70 22x DVD±RW

-Asus VG236HE 23" TRUE 120Hz 3D Widescreen
I don't like the look of the LG one, if it didnt have that odd tube design along the bottom, will create a gap when i put it alongside the Dell i already have. Not really bothered about 3D just want the 120hz for improved headshotage.
