My First Build

Hi there, nice build. I'm about to do something similar. :)

One thing though...

Am I right in saying you've got the RAM sticks in the 2 and 4 slots? I thought the faster slots were the 1 and 3 slots?
 
Nice tidy little build there. What are temps like with just the two 120mm fans in there? The CM690's are a little under-rated IMO, very good cases for the money and as you say plenty of room to work with, although cable management is pretty basic. Enjoy!
 
Was about to say it doesn't matter what slots they are in either 1 and 3 or 2 or 4, they will run at the same speed.

Either get some fans on the side or add one on the bottom to add in some extra cooler air and get an extra fan on the top to get rid of the warm air... will help a lot with cooling the system down.

At least with my Asus motherboard, the manual directs me to put them in the 2/4 slots.

Great job mate, a nice one for your first. Certainly cleaner than mine with the graphics card needing to be RMAd :(

Yeah, I was wrong. I've got the same motherboard as the OP, just installed the RAM today and it's exactly the same (obviously).
 
nom nom that Chinese, we basically have the same selection whenever I go to the buffet esp springrolls and build looks great but case looks a bit to tight imo
