My first Cabinet

Got this today.

Came with a 16 port Pressac presslink cat5e patch panel.

Please don't ask me why I got it. It was on Ebay and I got it for £9.99 it is in pretty good condition. couple of tiny marks on one corner, thats it.

Good god these small cabinets are A) well made and B) heavy. Very solidly built. Would need some serious anchors into the wall to hold this. never thought they were this heavy.

No idea if I want to use it. Was needing a patch panel and a switch as trying to sort my network side of the house out.

Anyway. Thought some of you maybe interested.

As I am new to cabinets. Surely they all fold out on hinges to allow access to the back? otherwise how on earth would you get to the back for patch panels etc?

It is 14 inch's deep
2 foot wide
18 inch's high

I believe that means it will only fit stuff 600mm long.

can you mount something like this to a normal brick wall?

I just don't know. It is quite heavy.
